The 2025 Toyota Camry may have a brand-new pair of powertrain options and a stylish new look, but it’s still the same mid-size sedan drivers have come to know and love. It’s a safe and reliable family SUV with the comfort and technology needed to keep people happy while taking trips in it.
Classic Reliability in the 2025 Toyota Camry
Strong Reliable Powertrains
There are two variations of one powertrain available for the Camry. The powertrain options have the same gas engine and front motor, but one of them has a secondary motor in the rear of the vehicle, increasing the car’s standard horsepower to 232. The front permanent magnet motor produces 134 hp on its own and is paired with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 184 hp, producing 225 hp overall.
Thanks to the combination of a strong engine and motor, the car feels responsive to drive. If you’re a fan of a sportier driving style, then consider getting either the XSE or SE trim, as their suspensions are tuned for a sportier ride.
A Generous Set of Driver Assistance Features
There are a generous number of standard safety features in the Camry because all the trims have Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. You’re getting features that help you stay in your lane, avoid accidental drifting, automatically switch the high beams on when necessary, keep track of the surrounding road signs, and give you some forewarning if you’re in danger of crashing.
The standard features do a lot on their own, but you can also opt to get a trim with a few more driver assistance features. These include park assist in the front and rear, lane change assist, and rear cross-traffic braking.
A Comfortable Cabin and Spacious Trunk
With 15.1 cubic feet of space in the trunk, the Camry should be able to handle the demands of typical daily life. The cabin also has plenty of room in it, too, with almost 100 cubic feet of passenger space without a moonroof. In models without a moonroof, there are 38.3 and 37.6 inches of headroom in the front and back, while models with a moonroof have 37.5 and 37.6 inches of it. There are 42.1 and 38 inches of legroom in the front and back.
A Well-Equipped Infotainment System
The Camry offers two infotainment screen sizes, which are 8 inches and 12.3 inches. Screens of both sizes are well-equipped with wireless smartphone compatibility and access to SiriusXM for entertainment. The smartphone compatibility gives you more entertainment options by letting you access music and audiobook apps, and you can also access your phone’s texting, calling, and calendar features through the system.
